![]() I started cleaning the brass on the legs. This picture is a little over exposed - sorry. You get the general idea, though. The brass is _very_ dirty, and took a lot of time using Brasso and extra fine steel wool. What this picture doesn't show, is that on each foot there is one small nail. Working around that nail was tricky. Also on the upper rings, there are two screws. Those were very difficult to work around, but they're also very locked into place, and I didn't want to get into a situation of having to buy new brass screws. |
